This meet-up aims to raise awareness and facilitate the empanelment of your institution on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. The scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Education through the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region), Mumbai.

The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme is a flagship program of the Government of India dedicated to skilling Indian youth in various disciplines. Under the provisions of The Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended in 1973), the scheme offers practical, hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities to graduate and diploma pass-outs. These training programs typically last between 6 months to 1 year.

Apprenticeship has long been a proven method for learning a craft or trade under the mentorship of a skilled and experienced professional. The NATS program is open to graduates and diploma holders, including those pursuing Sandwich courses. This year, we are placing a particular emphasis on the inclusion of students from Non-Technical disciplines, such as Commerce, Arts, Humanities, and Management. Upon completing the training, apprentices receive a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the Government of India, which can be registered at all employment exchanges across India as valid employment experience.

In light of the above, we strongly encourage your institution to register both your students and your institute on the NATS Portal at [https://nats.education.gov.in].

Please confirm your participation at your earliest convenience. Additionally, kindly provide the name and contact details of the Principal, Vice Principal, or Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) who will represent your institution at the meet.

There is no participation fee to attend this session, however, registration for confirming participation is MUST, to make necessary arrangements. Your early confirmation is highly appreciated, please use the following link for confirming your participation in the said session.
