Student Activities
Two of our ladies faculties Dr. Mrs Jaya Terdale and Prof. Ms. Anagha V. Malkapurkar were felicitated by Hon. HOD Dr. Mr. Dipak S. Marathe. BE, TE and SE Girls Students were felicitated by Prof. Nitin Chawande, Prof Pundlik Ghate and Prof. Sandeep Matey respectively by offering chocolates. To bring in the social responsibilities, respect and feeling of gratitude towards the women by citing students own mother’s example who stands behind each of them as a strong support was the center of discussion.
Gurupournima is the first event of cultural team celebrated on 19/7/17 to honor and express gratitude to the Divine Master or Gurus. On this auspicious day, posts of cultural core and general committee members were rewarded by Hon. H.O.D, Dr V. N. Pawar. & Faculty Committee Members.
University Organized Youth Festival – 2017 ( VII Raigad Zone – Intercollegiate Competition) University of Mumbai, Department of Student’s development organized 50th Golden Jubilee inter – Collegiate zonal youth festival : Zone VII – Raigad North in Karnatak Lingayat Society’s , KLE college of science and commerce, Kalambol on 8/8/17. Dr. V.N.Pawar (HOD- Extc) triggered the idea of active participation of our college students in Golden Jubilee year inter collegiate Youth festival – 2017. Our honorable Principal Dr. D. G. Borse granted the fees of registration for first chunk of students who responded to our first call for participation. Prof. S.W.Matey(EXTC), Prof. Mrs. Rashmi Mahajan (Extc), Prof. Mrs. Rupali Pande (Extc) , Prof. Ms. Bhagyashree Borse (Extc) encouraged the students for taking part in various activities. Indian classical instrumental solo (Taalwadya) Master. Omkar Badrike secured 1st rank at zonal level in 50th youth festival Mumbai University
On 5th September, Teachers Day is celebrated all over India, in the memory of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India SAeT celebrates Teachers Day, with both teacher’s and student’s active participation. Teacher’s day and Engineers day was celebrated at department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering on 15/9/ 2017, at Room No: 125, seminar hall by SAeT cultural committee.
With an aim to spread joy and happiness; Department of Electronics and Telecommunication of AC Patil COE , Kharghar has organized Dandiya and Garba on 19/9/17. The campus looked like a mini Gujarat, with all the Students; dressed up in traditional Gujarati attire and dancing to the rhythmic Dandiya beats!
