Seminar on “Incubation Support and Fundraising Schemes for Startups”

A recent Seminar based on “Incubation Support and Fundraising Schemes for Startups” followed by Startup Exhibition which was organized by the CSI Committee of CSE (IoT_CS_BS) department conducted by Our Speaker Mr.Nagendrapratap Singh (MBA, 17 years of experience in IT sector) focused on crucial aspects of startup development, including incubation support, fundraising schemes, and followed by showcasing startups through an exhibition. The event aimed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with valuable insights into navigating the challenges of establishing and growing startups. The event featured one on one interactive session with the startup exhibitors and our speaker. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, seek advice, and receive personalized guidance tailored to their startup journey. Sir ended program with an amazing quote “Think out of the box, build your own idea, innovate it, make it commercial and then you can make money through your startup”. Our startup exhibitors encouraged the participants to not fear about loss before you start…we all start somewhere and it’s okay to lose a few times but what matters is standing back up and fighting your fear. It is better than doing nothing. The event ended on good note and was remarkable for many of us!ging.

Edge Intelligence in Industry 5.0

In partnership with Edge Matrix Corporation, Delaware, the CSI student council CSE (IoT & CS-BC) department hosted a one-day event titled “Edge Intelligence in Industry 5.0” on July 11, 2023. Mr. Farhadh Manaz (Chief Executive Officer), the resource person, properly introduced their products and services to the participants. He spoke to the students about intelligent machines in industries, edge devices and their applications, cloud computing, and industrial applications. He gave the participants hands-on experience with a few devices in the afternoon session. The participants found the workshop to be highly fascinating and engaging.

Workshop on “Master class on Data Science”

CSI student council CSE (IoT & CS-BC) department had organized one day workshop “Master class on Data Science” on June 30, 2023 in collaboration with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) institute, Mumbai. Their resource person delivered precise and well explained features of Data Science. They cover a range of topics, including data cleaning and exploration, statistical modeling and analysis, machine learning algorithms and data visualization techniques. Through interactive sessions, attendees not only learn the principles of data science but also understand how to apply them to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.

Workshop on ” Block chain Technology“

CSI student council CSE (IoT & CS-BC) department had organized three day workshop “Block chain Technology” from 21st to 23rd February 2023 in collaboration with SIES Graduate School of Technology. Resource person discussed about the technological development around the block chain and decentralization of technology. Participants ask about the different ways of approaching block chain technology. She discussed about the uses of block chain technology in finance, supply chain management, healthcare, real estate, and a variety of other industries, promising higher efficiency, lower costs, improved security, and increased transparency. It was a enriching and deep learning for the participants and faculties.

Workshop on “AI & ML”

CSI student council CSE(IoT CS BC) department organised a workshop on AI & ML on 20th October 2022 in collaboration with Aptech Training Institution Kharghar branch. The speaker Mr. Pankaj Pawar ( M.Tech. IIT Madras), elaborated, starting from building a machine learning-focused strategy and progressing into model training, optimization. Also with respect to AI he described how machines that mimic and display “human” cognitive skills that are associated with the human mind, such as “learning” and “problem-solving”.

Workshop on “R-Pi”

“R-Pi Workshop” a one day hands on Raspberry pi was organised by CSE(IoT CS BC) Department CSI student council on 13th october 2022. Mr. Spandan Ghosh and Akshay Patil, students of BE IT class conducted the workshop. From basics to various project building were covered in the session. Total 40 students gained knowledge out of this activity.

Seminar on “Elastic Search”

The student council of CSE(IoT CS BC) dept.had organised a seminar on “Elastic Search” by Ashish Tiwari (Senior Developer Advocate).on 16th September 2022. Students learnt about basics of elastic search, elastic search stacks and use-cases of elastic search. Students had also created a dashboard using ‘Kibana’. Total 95 students including faculties attended the seminar.

“Technological Mindset”

Student council of CSE(IoT CS BC) dept. organised a seminar on “Technological Mindset” by Dr. Dinesh Gupta ( Anaandshree) on 8th September 2022. Speaker is mindset coach, spiritual corporate trainer, ted circles speaker, limca book of record holder, the official participant of guinness world records. director – amazing indian records & omg book of records Dr. Gupta discussed a set of attitudes and behaviors that enable student to setting the mindset for future technology. Total 165 students including faculties attended the seminar

Workshop on “Ether”

The student council of CSE(IoT CS BC) had organised 5 day’s workshop on “Ether” from 18th July to 22nd July 2022 by Ashish Tiwari (Senior Developer Advocate). He had delivered a speech on blockchain development & career opportunities in web3.. He had conducted hands-on sessions on Web 3.0 and Web 2.0, DAO, Defi, dApp and creating Wallets. He had discussed web development & its learning paths.
