Following the guidelines of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH), A. C. Patil College of Engineering, Kharghar, successfully organized and conducted the internal SIH (Institutional round of SIH)On 26/09/2023, . On this occasion, Principal Dr. Vijakumar N. Pawar motivated participants with his wise words of guidance. The institute’s SPOC, Prof. Shilpali Bansu, handled the process of finalizing the best teams with the help of a jury panel, which includes Dr. M.M. Deshpande, Dr. V. Y. Bhole, Dr. U. M. Shirole, Dr. Prasiddh Trivedi from RAIT College, and Ms. Arti Agrahari, a proud alumna of the institute, serving as industry experts. For the smooth conduction of this program, all department coordinators put forth their maximum efforts, and the institute’s management also extended their support.

From various departments of the institute, 21 teams of students participated, and 20 teams were selected for the software edition. They had chosen problem statements floated by various ministries of the Government of India on the SIH platform, and out of these teams, 3 are under the student innovations category.
